The Service is offered as a supportive resource for adults seeking personal growth and accountability and should be used as one component of a broader and self-directed approach to behavior change and wellness.
4. Not Medical, Mental Health, or Therapy Services
STOPPorn is a technology platform that provides tools for peer support, accountability, education, and habit-building. The Service is not a medical device, healthcare service, mental health service, psychotherapy practice, counseling practice, crisis intervention service, or treatment program of any kind.
STOPPorn does not provide medical advice, psychiatric advice, psychological advice, counseling, diagnosis, treatment, or any other professional healthcare service. No content made available through the Service, including educational materials, affirmations, streak data, chat messages, onboarding questions, or progress indicators, should be interpreted as medical or mental health advice.
No physician-patient relationship, therapist-client relationship, counselor-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, or other professional relationship is created between you and STOPPorn or between you and any other user of the Service.
Accountability partners and other users are not employees, agents, representatives, contractors, healthcare providers, or licensed professionals acting on behalf of STOPPorn. Any statements, advice, opinions, encouragement, or recommendations made by users are solely their own and are not endorsed, verified, supervised, or controlled by STOPPorn.
The Service is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, or treat any medical, psychiatric, psychological, or behavioral condition, including but not limited to compulsive sexual behavior, addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship disorders.

5. Account Registration and Security
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account and provide information such as your email address, password, date of birth, optional phone number for security features, demographic information, and other details requested during the onboarding process.
You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete and to promptly update such information if it changes. You may not provide false, misleading, or incomplete information or create an account using information that does not belong to you.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials, including your password and any authentication information associated with your account.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not, unless applicable law provides otherwise. You agree to use reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
You must notify STOPPorn immediately if you suspect or become aware of any unauthorized access to your account, security breach, loss of credentials, or other compromise of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that we believe has been compromised, used fraudulently, or operated in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may not share your account with any other person, permit others to access the Service using your credentials, or transfer your account without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to modify, expand, remove, or redesign onboarding questions, profile fields, and matching preferences at any time as the Service evolves.
By providing onboarding and demographic information, you consent to our use of that information as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.
7. User Content and Communications
The Service may allow you to create, upload, submit, transmit, store, or share content, including profile information, messages, responses to onboarding questions, journal entries, affirmations, images, reports, feedback, and other materials or communications (collectively, “User Content”).
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you may have in your User Content. However, by submitting or transmitting User Content through the Service, you grant STOPPorn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, display, distribute, and otherwise use such User Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, securing, and providing the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, permissions, and authority to submit your User Content and to grant the license described in these Terms.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for all consequences arising from your submission, transmission, publication, or sharing of such content through the Service.

We are not obligated to store User Content indefinitely and may delete or remove content in accordance with our data retention practices, technical limitations, legal requirements, or account status changes.

Accountability partners are independent users of the Service and are not employees, agents, representatives, contractors, therapists, counselors, coaches, healthcare providers, or fiduciaries of STOPPorn.
STOPPorn does not employ, train, certify, supervise, endorse, or guarantee the qualifications, intentions, experience, honesty, or suitability of any accountability partner or other user.
Any conversations, advice, opinions, recommendations, encouragement, or statements exchanged between users are solely the views of the individual users who provide them and do not represent the views or advice of STOPPorn.
We do not guarantee that any accountability partnership will be effective, compatible, respectful, beneficial, or free from conflict. Users may have different communication styles, beliefs, expectations, and levels of commitment.
Users are solely responsible for evaluating whether an accountability partnership is appropriate for their needs and for discontinuing any interaction that they find uncomfortable, unhelpful, or unsafe.
STOPPorn is not responsible for the conduct of users either within or outside the Service, including conduct occurring through text messages, phone calls, video chats, social media, in-person meetings, or any other communications or interactions.
We strongly encourage users to exercise caution when sharing personal information and to avoid disclosing sensitive details unless they are comfortable doing so.
Any decision to communicate outside the Service or to meet another user in person is made entirely at your own risk and discretion.
By using the accountability partner features, you acknowledge and agree that STOPPorn provides only the technological platform for connection and is not responsible for the substance, quality, safety, legality, or outcomes of any peer-support relationship.
9. Chat Features and Messaging Tools
The Service includes communication features such as messaging, automated prompts, reporting tools, and related tools that allow users to interact with one another through the platform.
Messaging and chat tools are provided solely as technical features to facilitate voluntary communication between users. STOPPorn does not create, direct, supervise, or control the substance of conversations that occur through these features.
We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, usefulness, legality, or appropriateness of any message, statement, recommendation, or other communication exchanged between users.
Users are solely responsible for all messages and communications they send, receive, or rely upon while using the Service.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, store, filter, flag, restrict, preserve, or disclose communications where we believe such action is reasonably necessary to operate the Service, enforce these Terms, investigate misconduct, comply with legal obligations, or protect users and the public.
Messaging features may be subject to technical limitations, delays, interruptions, data loss, or delivery failures. We do not guarantee that any message will be sent, delivered, received, or stored successfully.
Users may discontinue communications with other users at any time. The Service may also provide tools, such as reporting or blocking features, that allow users to limit interactions and notify us of conduct that may violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Communications may contain sensitive, emotional, or personal information, and you acknowledge that any disclosure you make through chat features is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

Streak counts and progress indicators may reset, contain inaccuracies, or be affected by technical issues, synchronization delays, device changes, user input errors, or software updates.
Affirmations, quotes, and motivational content are provided as general encouragement and should not be interpreted as medical advice, psychological treatment, guarantees of success, or professional recommendations.
The Service does not guarantee that use of these features will result in behavioral change, abstinence, improved wellbeing, or any specific personal outcome.

11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use the Service lawfully, respectfully, and in a manner consistent with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Any profile information, demographic responses, and statements made by users are self-reported and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or outdated.
You are solely responsible for evaluating whether to communicate with another user, what information to share, and whether to continue or discontinue any interaction.
You should exercise caution when disclosing personal, financial, medical, or identifying information to other users.
Any decision to communicate outside the Service, exchange contact information, or meet another user in person is made entirely at your own risk and discretion.
STOPPorn is not responsible for the acts, omissions, statements, advice, misconduct, negligence, or unlawful behavior of any user, whether such conduct occurs within or outside the Service.
We encourage users to promptly report conduct that they believe violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to investigate reports, preserve relevant information, and take actions we deem appropriate, including warnings, content removal, account suspension, account termination, or disclosure to appropriate authorities where permitted or required by law.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that all interactions with other users are voluntary and undertaken at your own risk, and that STOPPorn does not guarantee the safety, compatibility, or outcomes of any interaction or accountability partnership.
14. No Background Checks or User Verification Guarantee
STOPPorn does not conduct criminal background checks, sex offender registry searches, identity verification, employment verification, reference checks, or other screening of users unless we expressly state otherwise.
We do not warrant or represent that any user has been screened, verified, investigated, or determined to be safe, trustworthy, qualified, or suitable for interaction.
All profile information, demographic responses, photographs, and statements provided by users are self-reported and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or outdated.
The absence of background checks or identity verification means that users may misrepresent their identity, intentions, qualifications, or personal circumstances.
Any references to safety, accountability, community standards, or moderation should not be interpreted as a representation that STOPPorn has independently verified the identity or background of any user.
Users are solely responsible for exercising independent judgment and appropriate caution when communicating with others through the Service or when deciding whether to share personal information.
Any identity verification, age verification, or other screening procedures we use do not create a duty to screen all users or to guarantee the accuracy of any information provided.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that STOPPorn does not guarantee the identity, honesty, background, intentions, qualifications, or conduct of any user and that all interactions are undertaken at your own risk.
15. Intellectual Property and Limited License
The Service, including without limitation software, source code, databases, functionality, design, text, graphics, logos, user interfaces, audiovisual content, compilations, arrangements, and other materials and technology made available through the Service (collectively, the "Service Materials"), is owned by or licensed to STOPPorn and may be protected by copyright, trade secret, database, trademark, and other intellectual property and proprietary rights laws.
Except for User Content and other rights expressly granted to users under these Terms, STOPPorn and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service and the Service Materials.
Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, STOPPorn grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service solely for its intended personal, non-commercial purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred to you by virtue of your use of the Service. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by STOPPorn and its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, display, perform, license, sell, rent, lease, assign, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, data mine, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Service or the Service Materials except as expressly authorized by STOPPorn in writing or as permitted by applicable law.
You may not use the STOPPorn name, logos, domain names, visual identity, or other brand identifiers without our prior written consent. We may pursue formal trademark registration or additional brand protection in the future, but nothing in these Terms should be read as a statement that any particular trademark registration has already been obtained unless we expressly say so.
Unauthorized use of the Service or the Service Materials may violate intellectual property laws and may result in suspension or termination of your account, as well as civil or criminal liability.

If you download or access the Service through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another application marketplace, you acknowledge that the applicable app store provider is not responsible for the Service, its content, maintenance, support, or any claims relating to the Service except to the extent required under applicable app store terms.
You agree to comply with all applicable terms and conditions of any app store or third-party platform through which you access the Service.
The inclusion of links to third-party websites, integrations, or services does not constitute an endorsement by STOPPorn, and your interactions with such third parties are solely between you and the applicable third party.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STOPPorn disclaims all liability arising from your use of third-party services, websites, products, or platforms.
17. Suspension and Termination
STOPPorn may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, violated our Community Guidelines, created risk to other users, misused the Service, or engaged in conduct that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or inconsistent with the purpose of the platform.
We may also remove User Content, limit access to particular features, preserve relevant information, or take any other action that we deem reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain the integrity of the Service, enforce our agreements, or comply with legal obligations.
You may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Account deletion functionality may be provided through account settings or by contacting us, subject to our legal, safety, security, and operational retention requirements.
Termination or suspension of your account does not limit any other rights or remedies available to STOPPorn under these Terms, at law, or in equity.
Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease, and you must discontinue all use of the Service.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions relating to intellectual property, privacy, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law, will remain in full force and effect.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms part of this Agreement.

Because the Service may involve highly personal and potentially sensitive information, including demographic information, communications, and information relating to pornography recovery or sexual wellness, you are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.

STOPPorn DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, TIMELY, COMPLETE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
STOPPorn DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN RECOVERY, REDUCED PORNOGRAPHY USE, RELAPSE PREVENTION, IMPROVED RELATIONSHIPS, IMPROVED MENTAL HEALTH, OR ANY OTHER PARTICULAR OUTCOME.
STOPPorn DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, HELPFULNESS, OR SAFETY OF USER-GENERATED CONTENT, AFFIRMATIONS, ACCOUNTABILITY INTERACTIONS, OR COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN USERS.
STOPPorn DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE IDENTITY, INTENTIONS, CONDUCT, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY USER.
YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE AND YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STOPPorn AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, DEVICE DAMAGE, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, PERSONAL INJURY, RELAPSE, LOSS OF PRIVACY, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE CONDUCT OR STATEMENTS OF OTHER USERS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STOPPorn SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, USER CONTENT, ACCOUNTABILITY INTERACTIONS, AFFIRMATIONS, CHAT FEATURES, TECHNICAL FAILURES, SECURITY INCIDENTS, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.
YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE IS TO STOP USING THE SERVICE.
TO THE EXTENT ANY LIABILITY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED BUT MAY BE LIMITED, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF STOPPorn SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STOPPorn, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW.
22. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless STOPPorn and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal costs, arising out of or relating to:
(a) your access to or use of the Service;
(b) your User Content, communications, or other information you submit through the Service;
(c) your interactions or disputes with other users;
(d) your violation of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or any applicable law;
(e) your infringement, misappropriation, or violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights; or
(f) any fraudulent, negligent, abusive, unlawful, or willful misconduct by you.
STOPPorn reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate fully in the defense and settlement of such matter.
You may not settle any claim subject to indemnification without STOPPorn's prior written consent.
23. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, you and STOPPorn agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally and in good faith by providing written notice describing the nature of the dispute and the relief sought.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within a reasonable period of time, either party may pursue any remedies available under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STOPPorn may require that disputes be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis rather than through litigation in court.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and STOPPorn waive any right to a jury trial and waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, collective action, or representative proceeding.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from bringing an individual claim in small claims court where eligible or from seeking temporary or permanent injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, confidential information, or the security of the Service.
Any arbitration procedures, venue, governing rules, and opt-out rights will be provided or supplemented as required by applicable law.
24. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Guidelines, and any additional terms or policies presented through the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and STOPPorn regarding your access to and use of the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and understandings, whether oral or written.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
No waiver by STOPPorn of any provision or right under these Terms shall be deemed a continuing waiver or a waiver of any other provision or right.
You may not assign, delegate, or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. STOPPorn may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, financing transaction, or by operation of law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent superseded by applicable federal law.
Subject to any enforceable arbitration provisions, any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it in the future.
Headings are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
These Terms are binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns.

Program name: STOPPorn account verification.
STOPPorn may send text messages to users who choose to add a phone number for account security, login verification, phone number verification, or two-factor authentication. These messages are transactional security messages and are not marketing messages.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and security choices. Message and data rates may apply. You can remove or change your phone number in Account Settings when available.
