1. Community Purpose
STOPPorn is intended to support adults seeking accountability, encouragement, and healthier habits in relation to pornography use, compulsive sexual behaviors, and sexual wellness.
The Service is designed to foster a respectful, honest, and supportive community focused on recovery, personal growth, and mutual accountability.
Users are encouraged to share experiences, challenges, goals, and strategies related to recovery and wellness in a manner that is constructive and respectful of others.
Discussion of sexual topics is permitted when reasonably related to recovery, education, health, therapy, relationships, or support.
Content or conduct intended primarily to arouse, solicit sexual activity, engage in sexting, exploit other users, or otherwise undermine the recovery-focused purpose of the Service is prohibited.
All users are expected to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment consistent with these Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service.
2. Respectful Conduct
All users must treat one another with respect, honesty, and consideration.
Harassment, bullying, intimidation, humiliation, repeated unwanted contact, insults, name-calling, threats, coercion, stalking, and other forms of abusive or disruptive behavior are prohibited.
Users may not engage in conduct intended to shame, demean, manipulate, exploit, or emotionally harm other users.
Constructive disagreement and the sharing of differing perspectives are permitted, but interactions must remain civil and respectful at all times.
Behavior occurring outside the Service, including conduct through text messages, social media, or in-person interactions, may be considered if it affects the safety, wellbeing, or integrity of the STOPPorn community.
3. Hate, Discrimination, and Dehumanization
STOPPorn is committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment for all users.
Content or conduct that promotes, endorses, glorifies, dehumanizes, degrades, humiliates, excludes, or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on protected or personal characteristics is prohibited.
Protected and personal characteristics may include, without limitation, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, immigration status, religion, creed, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Users may respectfully discuss personal beliefs, experiences, and viewpoints, but may not use the Service to attack, demean, or advocate hostility toward others based on who they are.
We may remove content or take action against accounts when we determine that conduct undermines the safety, dignity, or inclusiveness of the STOPPorn community.
4. Sexual Harassment and Sexual Pressure
The Service does not permit the uploading, sharing, requesting, selling, linking to, or distributing pornography, nude images, sexually explicit videos, adult services, or other erotic material.
Users may discuss pornography use, specific fetishes, sexual fantasies, urges, relapse triggers, and related experiences when doing so for the purpose of recovery, accountability, education, health, therapy, or emotional support.
Discussion of explicit or graphic subject matter is permitted when reasonably necessary for users to describe their struggles, feel understood, and receive meaningful support from others.
Sexually explicit or graphic language used primarily to arouse, entice, solicit sexual activity, reinforce compulsive behavior, or otherwise sexually stimulate another user is prohibited.
We may remove content and take action against accounts when we determine that material is pornographic, exploitative, sexually solicitational, or inconsistent with the recovery-focused purpose of the Service.
5. Pornography, Nudity, and Explicit Content
Uploading, requesting, selling, linking to, or distributing pornography, nude images, explicit sexual media, or adult services is prohibited. Discussions of relapse or recovery should remain non-graphic and support-focused.
6. Minors and Exploitation
STOPPorn does not allow sexualized, exploitative, suggestive, or endangering content involving minors under any circumstances.
Even where certain material may not be criminal in every situation, STOPPorn may prohibit it when it sexualizes minors, exploits minors, endangers minors, or conflicts with the safety and recovery-focused purpose of the platform.
Users may not upload, request, discuss for arousal, distribute, promote, normalize, or encourage child sexual abuse material, grooming, trafficking, coercion, or other exploitative conduct involving minors.
If we become aware of content or conduct that reasonably appears to involve child sexual exploitation or other serious unlawful abuse, we may preserve relevant information and report the matter to appropriate authorities or organizations as permitted or required by law.
Violations of this section may result in immediate enforcement action, including content removal, account restriction, account suspension, permanent account termination, and referral to appropriate authorities when permitted or required by applicable law.
7. Scams, Solicitation, and Commercial Activity
Users may not use the Service to deceive, manipulate, defraud, or exploit other users for financial, commercial, promotional, or personal gain.
Prohibited conduct includes requesting money, gifts, loans, donations, cryptocurrency, account credentials, or other financial or personal resources; impersonating others; directing users to fraudulent websites; and making false representations to obtain trust or material benefit.
Users may not advertise, market, promote, or sell products, services, subscriptions, coaching programs, adult content, or unrelated communities without our prior written permission.
Because many users may be seeking support during vulnerable periods, any attempt to exploit emotional, psychological, or relational vulnerabilities for personal benefit is strictly prohibited.
We may remove content and take action against accounts engaged in scams, fraud, unauthorized solicitation, or other exploitative conduct.
8. Authenticity and Account Integrity
Users must provide truthful and accurate information when creating and maintaining their accounts.
Users may not impersonate another person, misrepresent their identity, age, or eligibility, create fake accounts, or otherwise deceive other users about who they are.
Users may not create multiple accounts for abusive purposes, evade suspensions or bans, use automated scripts or bots, scrape data, interfere with platform functionality, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
Accounts are personal to the registered user and may not be sold, transferred, shared, or used by another person without our express written permission.
We may require age verification, identity verification, or other reasonable measures to confirm account authenticity and eligibility.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that compromise the integrity, security, or trustworthiness of the STOPPorn community.
9. Self-Harm and Crisis Content
Users may discuss struggles involving depression, anxiety, shame, compulsive behaviors, suicidal thoughts, self-injury, or other mental health challenges when doing so for the purpose of seeking support, accountability, or encouragement.
Content that instructs, encourages, glorifies, romanticizes, or assists suicide, self-harm, violence, eating disorders, substance abuse, or other dangerous conduct is prohibited.
The Service is not an emergency service, crisis hotline, or substitute for professional medical or mental health care.
If a user appears to be in immediate danger or expresses a credible threat of harm to themselves or others, we may take appropriate action, including providing crisis resources, restricting accounts, preserving information, or contacting authorities where permitted or required by law.
Users experiencing an immediate crisis should contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis hotline without delay.
10. Enforcement
We may investigate conduct and content that we believe may violate these Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of the STOPPorn community.
In response to violations or suspected violations, we may remove content, issue warnings, limit features, preserve records, restrict access, suspend accounts, permanently terminate accounts, or cooperate with law enforcement or other appropriate authorities where permitted or required by law.
Enforcement decisions may take into account the severity of the conduct, the context and intent of the behavior, prior violations, patterns of abuse, and the potential risk to individuals or the community.
Conduct occurring outside the Service, including through text messages, social media, email, or in-person interactions, may be considered when it affects the safety, wellbeing, or trust of the STOPPorn community.
Submitting knowingly false, malicious, or abusive reports may itself constitute a violation of these Community Guidelines.
Our enforcement decisions are made in our sole discretion to the extent permitted by applicable law.
